So I have a Twitter now. So far I’ve only used it for cracking wise and occasionally complaining about junk, but as far as I can tell that’s what it’s for, so there you go. Over time I’ll probably start making special announcements via Twitter, about things like bonus comics or limited edition merch, so if you’re interested in that then it’d probably be wise to tune in…but for the moment it’s mainly cracking wise and complaining.

Also, I’ve had this link hanging out in a browser tab for far too long; time to post it! Just goes to show what you can accomplish with free time.

Fun thing #1: I have a guest strip up at Sheldon today! Because Dave Kellett and his wife had a baby. Isn’t that special. Okay, I will concede that in this case it’s pretty awesome, because Dave is about the rockingest guy I know, and he has so much love and goodwill in his heart that I know he’s gonna make the arcade-game top-scores-list of Best Dads Ever. Seriously, among all the dads all throughout history (or at least since the machine was last unplugged), he will totally be up there. Congrats Dave and Gloria!

Fun thing #2: In the grand Kellettian tradition, I am offering a piece of original comic art for sale! It’s strip #395, the only Wondermark I’ve ever hand-drawn. The auction’s live now, and it’s a great chance to own a unique piece of Wondermark as well as help support me and this site.

‘Beards of our Forefathers’ press coverage

Here is some press coverage about my upcoming book, Beards of our Forefathers: an article at Publishers Weekly, another at some other site, and the official Dark Horse press release.

Also, to answer some readers’ questions about the book: I’m encouraging Amazon pre-orders now, but I will also have signed copies available for purchase directly from my store once it comes out in the summer. Anyone who buys the book via Amazon or their local bookstore will also be able to, if they like, send me their copy for signature/personalization.
