PEMBURTON: Are you all right in here?
GRONDUS: GOO! It's the GOO! There's SO much goo.
GRONDUS: The problem IS the goo. Honestly, I don't like it.
GRONDUS: And whenever I blow it out, MORE goo arrives shortly after. Like it's on a rigorous GOO TIMETABLE.
PEMBURTON: It's a goo train.
GRONDUS: WHY is there a goo train! I don't LIKE the goo train! I don't WANT a goo train!
GRONDUS: DOWN WITH GOO TRAIN! Get this goo train OUT of here! BLOCK the tracks! SHUT DOWN the station!
PEMBURTON: You're a goo train NIMBY.
GRONDUS: I'm a goo train NIM-SINUSES

The computers tell me it was 20 years ago, June 9, 2006, that I arrived in New York for my first-ever comic convention as an exhibitor, MoCCA.
It was an important trip for me, a milestone in what would go on to become my career.
I wrote a little reminiscence on Patreon (free/unlocked) — including a first-since-then reprint of the photocomics I made at the time, documenting the trip!
