BLORNSBY: Isn't it amazing...doctors used to blame illnesses on HUMOURS. Imbalances of theoretical internal fluids. Black bile, yellow bile, phlegm...! Nobody knew what "phlegm" WAS, but it sure was important!
BLORNSBY: Thank goodness we left THAT nonsense far behind.
CRANDLETON: Right? It's like, get with the SCIENCE!

You know what REALLY gets the toxins out? A good old-fashioned bloodletting.
The computers tell me it was 20 years ago, June 9, 2006, that I arrived in New York for my first-ever comic convention as an exhibitor, MoCCA.
It was an important trip for me, a milestone in what would go on to become my career.
