Friend 1: WHAAAAT
Friend 2: That's crazy! We've known each other for months and never realized we had the same birthday!
Friend 2: Does this make us closer friends, now? Are we bonded in some sort of pact? Are we bound together on a deep level we can't control, like shared witnesses to some terrible crime?
Friend 1: I suppose we are, if the crime is 'our respective parents may have been having sex simultaneously'
Friend 2: Yeah, I think forty-one years ago that was a felony in most states

The computers tell me it was 20 years ago, June 9, 2006, that I arrived in New York for my first-ever comic convention as an exhibitor, MoCCA.
It was an important trip for me, a milestone in what would go on to become my career.
