Look, it's not that it makes sense. It's that it wins games. I think, anyway. I've never really tracked it.

Nov. 14: Tweet Me Harder LIVE in Hollywood!

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahh

The Saturday after next, join Kris Straub and I for a live performance of our comedy podcast Tweet Me Harder — the world’s first, best, only and last talkback-enabled interactive audio podblast.

The show will be at 8pm on November 14, at The Complex, 6476 Santa Monica Blvd, in Hollywood, CA.

This is our very first live show and we’re tremendously excited. If you haven’t been listening to TMH, it’s an interactive talk show during which Kris and I invent new concepts, solve problems, cause larger problems, badger listeners and occasionally rap. It’s been a ton of fun to do these last few months and we’re thrilled to bring it to the stage.

TMH Live will be open to the public and absolutely free to attend! It’s a one-night-only special event that will also feature appearances by friends-of-the-show Fake Stan Lee and Dave “Smilin’ Sam” Kellett. No prior knowledge of Tweet Me Harder is required to enjoy the live show, but if you’d like to catch up on the podcast, you can listen to previous episodes here or search “Tweet Me Harder” on iTunes.

We also stream each show live online at tweetmeharder.com, so even if you can’t make it to Hollywood you can still listen (and participate!). We make all show announcements on our Twitter feed (@tweethard), and our next internet show will be Tuesday (today!) at 7pmP/10pmE, streaming live at tweetmeharder.com.

Here’s our Facebook event page for the Nov. 14 live show — please RSVP if you can make it, and feel free to share the show with friends!

Prints & Posters

Just a reminder that every Wondermark comic, from the first one all the way up to today’s, is available in large, friendly wall-mounted form! I’ve had several folks ask recently if they can get prints, so I just want to make sure that the print/poster process is obvious and not horribly confusing. If anyone has any questions, finds any broken links, or doesn’t understand quite how it works, please email me or leave a comment on this post so I know how to make the process better and more clear! Thank you, and may your walls ever be adorned with fine things that make your life beautiful.

My wedding poster, trailer, and epic cake

It’s been a few years since I last mentioned this stuff, so I’m gonna share it again for the benefit of new readers! Back when my wife and I were first engaged, we were both working in movie advertising. So naturally, after setting a date, the first thing we did was make a poster (above, click for bigger).

Then, we made a trailer:

‘Getting Married’ Trailer

(if you don’t have Flash, here are lo-res and hi-res QuickTime versions)

And being action-movie fans, we decided we needed an action-movie cake:

It was designed by me and created by Mike’s Amazing Cakes in Redmond, WA. Click the image for a closer look!

If you have further sinister curiosity about our wedding itself you can always look at some of our vaguely interesting pictures as well. But the main thing is the cake — I’ve seen it linked around the internet anonymously before, and I want to make sure it’s got an attribution attached to it.

By the way each tier was a different flavor
