Panel 1: Scared-looking guy says “Have you noticed something…WEIRD happening? I think our place might be HAUNTED.”
Panel 2: He and a scared-looking woman look at a pile of dishes in the kitchen sink. He: “LOOK! I swear, I just did these dishes yesterday. They were ALL clean. And YET! WHAT do we see? A bunch of DIRTY DISHES all piled up in the sink!”
Panel 3: Now she leads him to a laundry room with a clothesline and overflowing hamper. She: “I’ve noticed this too. See the laundry basket? It was empty VERY recently! I DID ALL the laundry!”
Panel 4: He: “Last night, a creepy voice whispered to me: ‘It’ll keep happening, over and over, until you die!'” She: “AAAHH! YOU HEARD THAT TOO?”

The computers tell me it was 20 years ago, June 9, 2006, that I arrived in New York for my first-ever comic convention as an exhibitor, MoCCA.

It was an important trip for me, a milestone in what would go on to become my career.

I wrote a little reminiscence on Patreon (free/unlocked) — including a first-since-then reprint of the photocomics I made at the time, documenting the trip!
