Otto: Develop a talk for corporate events. Write a HOW-TO BOOK using a larger-than-average font and lots of space taken up by inspirational quotes.
Otto: Photo of me on the cover in a suit, all SMILING like the reader and I are PALS in on a PRIVATE JOKE...
Otto: Teaching classes! Holding seminars! OOH! OOH! Holding WEBINARS!!
Otto: THOSE you can do from a hotel room in the Caymans!

Darren: "Make way for Otto! World-renowned..."
Darren: World-renowned what?
Otto: I dunno. Horse racer?
Otto: That bit doesn't really matter

The computers tell me it was 20 years ago, June 9, 2006, that I arrived in New York for my first-ever comic convention as an exhibitor, MoCCA.
It was an important trip for me, a milestone in what would go on to become my career.
I wrote a little reminiscence on Patreon (free/unlocked) — including a first-since-then reprint of the photocomics I made at the time, documenting the trip!
