Man 1: Boxing Day in Canada is a tradition dating back for thousands of years.

Man 1: We take all the boxes left over from Christmas and pack our children in them for a day.

Man 1: We pack them in with Styrofoam and seal them up with tape for 24 hours.

Man 1: It’s sort of like the opposite of Mother’s Day.
Man 2: I will never go to Canada.

20 years ago (in photocomic form)

The computers tell me it was 20 years ago, June 9, 2006, that I arrived in New York for my first-ever comic convention as an exhibitor, MoCCA.

It was an important trip for me, a milestone in what would go on to become my career.

I wrote a little reminiscence on Patreon (free/unlocked) — including a first-since-then reprint of the photocomics I made at the time, documenting the trip!
