JOSIAH: How’s the job search going?

JEREMY: TERRIBLE! I can’t find a thing!

JEREMY: And I don’t think I’m being unreasonable, either!   I will take ANY job, ANY field, ANY level of pay, doing absolutely ANYTHING, IN my field of expertise or NOT…staff or freelance…full time or part time…

JEREMY:  Literally ANYTHING AT ALL so long as I can commute to it via zipline, and they provide the zipline, and the zipline is fun.

[Jeremy storms out.]

JEREMY: But NOTHING! This economy BLOWS!

20 years ago (in photocomic form)

The computers tell me it was 20 years ago, June 9, 2006, that I arrived in New York for my first-ever comic convention as an exhibitor, MoCCA.

It was an important trip for me, a milestone in what would go on to become my career.

I wrote a little reminiscence on Patreon (free/unlocked) — including a first-since-then reprint of the photocomics I made at the time, documenting the trip!
