His work will live on forever but he will surely be missed. When I was just a boy, I was fascinated by his cover work. Today I am still awed by it.

Frank’s inspiration upon you has inspired ME. You were very lucky to have had such a skilled and kind mentor to guide your early artistic development. It is clear you are thankful and appreciative of your time together and it is wonderful that you were able to talk once again before his passing. Thank you for sharing your story with us.

Thanks for the touching tribute to Frank Frazetta… I found him in my freshmen year of college: I had a roommate who (like you) found a lot of inspiration and instruction is his work. For a semester, I attempted to master subjects I should have learned in high school while surrounded by my roommate’s drawings of dragons, warriors and Amazonian huntresses all rendered with a distinctive Frazetta flair.

Wow, thank you that! What a beautiful tribute, and a touching insight into the life of an artist. How wonderful that you can say you learned as much from a man you never met, as from the man who taught you.
You just made my day
